Q: does this come in a light or medium gray ?Most are called silver gray and are almost white I have salt and pepper color hair ?

Our Silver/Gray is darker, almost pewter in color. We do have a white called UltraSilver/White, but it sounds like Silver/Gray would better suit you. Some people use more than one shade to get the look they desire.

Q: Does this make the hair more black?

The color is solid black. If your hair is not very dark black, then the difference in tones will be noticeable, I guess. I hope that helps to get you a good idea about the product.
