Good fitting.
Fitted outside the front door - very dark area. We switch the fitting on when we go out. It comes on as it gets dark. On returning we can see to get the key in the lock. Simple, effective and looks good as well.

Bright light and works a treat
The light has replaced one on the back of our house that had a switch operation. It wasn't faulty but I got sick of forgetting to turn on and turn off. We also got burgled a while back so I wanted a brighter light. Debated installing a photocell switch on that old light but went for a dusk to dawn light. In summary I'm very happy with this fitting. Easy to install - comments below - and the light triggered at low level light as described. It's bright and illuminates a large area out the back. Design is good and it looks quite sleek once lit up. I was sceptical at first when opening the box but it looks good when lit.Installation comments: No earth connection, so use choc block to terminate the earth part of the external cable, easy. Live and neutral go into slots easily and will only go in when you push in the L or N buttons. This is commonplace nowadays and is very easy to install. Plenty of room inside the light to have excess cable in case you don't want to cut it. I prepared tools for the job and all in all it took about 15 - 20 min to install including drilling holes, fixing to wall, wiring and completing assembly. One negative would be that the instructions aren't brilliantly clear, but it wouldn't be terribly difficult to work everything out without instructions at all.Price: it's a little high for the quality of the product, I'd have preferred it to be around the 25 mark, but counting on this saving me a bit electricity with the LED if it lasts for the quoted lifetime.

Looks good and works well
The product is attractive enough for residential use although it is more at the commercial end of the aesthetics range. But that is what I was looking for.Nothing really to say other than it's round and it's black and white! It was an easy swap for an existing fitting which had stopped working. For my particular purpose it does seem to be a bit too bright! But better that than the common thing with led bulbs where they exaggerate the lumens claims.I'm very pleased with this light. The photocell works correctly, on at around twilight and off at first light.

Bright light easy setup.
Bought this for our front door so it's light all night to keep door camera in colour rather than night View (tip). It's about the size of a dinner plate. Quite easy to put up and wire up with push connections. Only very slight issue was initially getting the outer trim off to get to the screws. All in all a very good bright light.

Very bright
Easy to install as it just connected to existing power supply however it is very bright even on its lowest settings, you might want to consider this if you intend using it as a permanent night light 👍

Bulkhead light
Really disappointed in this lamp. Mains connection really rubbish. Looks great and I like the way it has a securing bracket that unscrews from the lamp so you can pull the lamp away from you porch or wall. This lamp didn’t work. It probably was not just a defective lamp but the most ridiculous way the live and Neutral wires connect to the lamp. A tiny connector you push the wire into. No screw like a plug. just push in tabs . The two tiny tabs you push down after wires inserted. These then secure the wires. Like any sensible person I just pushed the two wires in first to test the lamp. No joy. It’s a dusk till dawn so covered up the lamp, still not joy. No way really of seeing how good a connection the wires are making. Threaded the mains wire through the light as if ready to fit. This time pushed the tabs down to force a better connection. Lamp still not working even once covered to emulate it being dark. This lamp was a replacement for a much dimmer light. Which worked when I removed. I had to cut the wires to remove the new lamp as these ridiculous tabs will not let go of the wires. Once removed I tested the mains supply. As I New,, nothing wrong with the voltage. Of course there’s no chance of reconnecting the lamp as the wires are now permanently stuck in the rediculous connectors. For this reason I can not recommend at all. This lamp needs a lot better and reliable connection. The same that a plug has or indeed the lamp that I removed. Back on with the old lamp fully working. Until I sort a better connecting lamp.

great product except you can't change the bulb
bought one of these from the same supplier but a different site, the product itself is great, very bright, on my porch it's like daylight when it's pitch black! photo sensor works well. the only drawback and I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere in any description other than the box is that you can't change the bulb when it dies. with 30k hours, it should last around 6 years, but in my admittedly limited experience leds tend not to last anywhere near their claimed lifetime. still you get a 2 year warranty.
