Love that they have some weight to them and they look so good. I ordered the black and I wasn't disappointed in the quality of the product. Being that they have some weight to them they're durable through the dishwasher and every day use and definitely a good value for the price. The steak knives are very sharp so you may want to keep the sleeves on when storing them for safety until use.

This is a huge set of silverware, which is fantastic. It is retro, but it was lighter weight than what I had hoped for. It’s great that you get so many place-settings with this though.

This is a very elegant set of silverware that would be great for those who like to have the dining room table already set up. Having eight place settings is pretty amazing (causing the 5 stars) because hardly ever can you find a set with this many. Especially a COMPLETE dinner set. While I do love the design of each utensil, the color isn't truly black but rather a dark grey. This doesn't matter to me, but if you are trying to match an exact aesthetic, keep this in mind. These don't have to be "china cabinet" silverware though because they will stand up to everyday use if you prefer them to be your go to utensils. Each piece has a good amount of weight to it so I wouldn't consider them lightweight like traditional silverware.

I'm extremely satisfied with the Ollex Black Silverware Set. The quality is excellent, and the design is both stylish and functional. The set is a great value for the price, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their dining experience.

Lot's of pluses with this set. First off is that it is an 8 piece set instead of your usual 4 (or 6 piece). Most of the time I'll just purchase two 4 piece sets so this simplified that process (and I'd hope saved me some money). The black color is more like an onyx rather than black. I think I would've preferred it to be more black, but otherwise the color was ok. The design on the ends is a nice touch and give this some elegance over regular silverware.What made me give this 4 stars has to do with the weight and overall durability feel. Although I have only been using these for a couple weeks and so far they have held up well (including heavy duty dishwasher), they do feel a bit on the thin, light weight side. But...since none of them bent so far, I didn't deduct a full star for this alone. It was a combination of this, the onyx color (rather than deep black) and...the non-matching (to the design on the other flatware) flower print on the steak knives. Not terrible by any means, but enough to take one star away. Otherwise a nice set of silverware that I hope will last for years to come.

I got these because they reminded me a the silverware my mom had as a kid with a modern twist. While the pictures do make these look a little better than what they do in person, they still look stunning and are pleasant to use. The black mirror finish looks really good but you can tell it they had some issues with the cut-outs when they electroplated them. It isn't quite as dark or shiny around the handle. They are also a little lighter in weight than the average flatware set but I kinda like that and it's one of the reasons I prefer to use them over my other set. The best part besides the unique design is the amount you get in this set. 8 of each utensil including steak knives which comes out to just over $1 for each piece. Everyone who has seen these have complimented them and they are honestly just nice to look at. Highly recommend for the value, quantity and esthetics.

We ordered these fantastic 48 pieces of Retro silverware for our large family and we do like that they were made with stainless steel. We have been using them for the past few weeks now, and we do like the design of the serrated steak knives with the laser print of butterflies with flowers and the smooth edges of these flatware. We do like the mirror polished finish of these tableware, the ease of holding and use them and they feel comfortable in the mouth. Considering the quality, the quantity and the price point, they are definitely great value for money. Highly recommended.

The Ollex 48 PCS Retro Royal Silverware Flatware Set Black is a decent flatware set. I expected the quality to be a little higher for the price paid, but they went with quantity over quality. They're not terrible by any means, just thinner than expected and there are sharp edges around the ornate design on the handle. The steak knives are quite sharp, so that's a bonus.Overall this set of flatware isn't too bad.. Would I purchase them again? Probably if they went on sale.
