This would make a great gift. I wasn't expecting these to be so heavy. (Yes. I know it's cast iron.) But you really never know what you're going to get. I love being able to use this for an easy family meal/celebration. Very high quality.

Nice even heat. Easy to clean and almost non stick. Easy to use works great for a single person's stew. I like it a lot. It's a heavy little gadget but it's awesome.

My parents had a fondue pot when I was a kid, and I have some good memories from the times we used it. I wanted to recreate that for my kids. Cooking in a pot inside? I mean, I think it's cool. But I'm a nerd. Anyways, we made chocolate fondue with this pot. It turned out great. The pot held the heat very well. The pot is also a good size for a family. I wouldn't use this for 10 or so people, depending on what kind of fondue you're making. Cleanup was easy, and my kids thoroughly enjoyed the fondue experience. This is a good quality set and I recommend it if you're looking to get one.

Lovely ceramic cat iron fondue pot. Just the right sized for 2 people or for a party dessert. Heats up evenly and holds hear after you cover the fuel. It's also really easy to use.

This is a little heavy, as you would expect with cast iron. It was smaller than expected, but I am glad it is the size it is as I thought it would be bigger. It is well-made and easy to assemble. It came just as my granddaughter came in the door from the school bus. She called up a friend and said Grandmom has one of those fondu pots, so come over. They melted chocolate and made smores and dipped candy and cookies and whatever they could find in the pantry. Had a great time. You will need sterno containers, and if you ordered this, you most likely have them in your house as we do. I melted the chocolate in the microwave and then poured it into the pot. It didn't take long for the chocolate squares to finish melting, and the chocolate didn't burn. The included fondue forks worked great. I washed the forks and pot by hand. I would order this pot again.

We were so excited to get this fondue pot and try it out! It is much heavier than I expected due to being made of of cast iron. We tried it out when we got it and the pot stays warmed and it worked well. We had family over and we all agreed that it will be a yummy addition to our desserts and meals. It was super easy to clean and easy to use. Our only complaint is there were some chips in the enamel/paint on the partial lid that covers the pot and keeps your stick in place.
