This is a children's story/ allegory about a starfish that wants to become a star. As we enjoy the journey, the main character deals with important issues for children such as understanding when who we think maybe friends are really frenemies and how moving on can lead to positive outcomes. Diversity in friendship also features in the book and overall positivity in relationships. Does the main character reach her goal though? That is the question.
