My granny always had horehound candy.This Claeys candy arrived quickly and in perfect condition.It's fresh and it's tasty.I plan on using some of these candies to make homemade cough syrup.Good quality horehound at a good price. I bought these for making homemade cough syrup. Haven't made it yet, but I think it will be effective because I tasted one of these and had to spit it out! Very strong flavor that was yucky to me... and cough syrup tastes bad. So this is just what the doctor ordered!

It shipped quickly, but disappointed in the lack of flavor. Just a hint of flavor, just mostly sweet.
