I liked this book over the rest more so because it was heartbreaking heart felt. You cried for Max and his loss. But the story is more than that. It makes you smile when he finds Mia again.💕 And again!

Every time I read a J.S. Scott book in The Billionaire's Obsession series, I say to myself, "It just CAN'T top the last one I just read!" Yet, somehow, it just does. I am head over heels in love with this series, and and all these deliciously dominant Billionaire heroes who make the objects of their obsessive affection--and legions of fans--swoon.And Max tops the list of one of my all time faves (thus far!) in the series. Ahh...where to begin with Max Hamilton? This gorgeously Alpha male is so, so tortured that your heart can't help but throb for him. Over two years ago, he tragically lost his beloved wife, Mia, when she disappeared without a trace and all clues indicate she was swept up at sea. Although a part of him refused to believe she was actually gone, eventually he was forced to move on with his life--without her. Fortunately, he had the support of his family and friends to bolster his spirits...but his heart never quite healed from her loss. Something was always...missing. And he was haunted by the knowledge that he'd never gave all of himself to her.Due to his upbringing, he'd conditioned himself for years to be a calm, controlled, reasonable businessman, but Mia stirred fiery emotions in him that threatened to blow that persona to smithereens. Still, he somehow managed to contain his animalistic desires because he'd been afraid of losing her if she found out she wasn't the man she wanted. And, in an ironic twist of fate, he lost her anyway. Oh if only he could do it all again... Now, by some miracle, he can! In chapter one, Max can hardly believe his eyes when Mia shows up out of the blue at a social gathering in the park attended by him, his fellow billionaires and their significant others. Mia's appearance has been altered, and she's acting like a skittish little rabbit, yet he knows...instinctively...it's her. His beautiful Mia back from the dead! Although an unfortunate mishap leaves her with no memory of the last couple of years, their love blazes brighter then ever, and both are determined to enjoy every moment of their second chance together.As with all of the books in this series, the passion is off the charts hot! And when I say hot...some of their encounters almost set my poor kindle on fire! It's certainly testosterone overload when Max enters the room...and his besotted "back from the dead" bride is hardly complaining! These two have sparks galore and I was giddy with delight each time Max swept his beautiful, fragile bride into his big, brawny arms and showered her with affection. And this time there was no holding back! No suppressing his primitive desires for the sake of propriety. And man does he have her. Over and over again.... But even as they bask in their smoldering desires, Mia too has emotional baggage to sort out from the past, stemming from deep seated insecurities. She'd always wanted to be the perfect wife for Max, and always felt like she'd come up short. But, as it turns out, he'd never wanted the perfect woman. He'd only wanted HER. Now they are both determined to get it right. To always communicate their wants and desires. To trust in themselves--and each other--and never hide from love again. But while their reunion is indeed miraculous, a shadow looms overhead and Mia yearns to fill in that missing gap of time so she'll never worry about being torn from the protective embrace of her beloved billionaire again.What I loved about this book--and ALL the books in this wonderfully addictive series--is that it has so much heart. The characters are incredibly endearing, and each and every scene churns with intense emotion. Max's unique brand of dominant protective love made an emotionally vulnerable Mia feel so safe and adored...and it set my hopelessly romantic heart all aflutter. I fell so deeply for these characters, I positively ached for them to get it right this time around. I also enjoyed the mystery of Mia's missing years because it added an aura of uncertainty to their passionate reunion. And, of course, watching all the interaction with the other pompous series billionaires as they play off each is always a riot. Plus, Max's love/hate relationship with a Tucker the dog was too adorable for words!So, to sum it up, there was just so much to relish about THE BILLIONAIRE'S SALVATION. And, in the end, when these two finally do get that guaranteed HEA, there's nothing more to do than sigh with bliss. Find a cure for yet another book hangover. And look forward to reading the next installment in J.S. Scott's breathtaking Billionaire's Obsession series!

I love this series by JS Scott!! Her hot alpha men are so protective of their woman and the women are just as stubborn! The heat factor is awesome!!

She’s mine. She always has been and always will be. “How exactly do you wear undergarments with that?” he asked in a husky voice, pretty certain he didn’t want to know the answer. “It’s a little tricky. Honestly…I can’t. They don’t work with this dress,” she replied nonchalantly as she headed for the door. I was afraid she was going to say that. Max caught up to her at the door, his hand moving to the back of the dress, nudging it gently aside. It only took a little nudge to expose her tattoo. “Damn. You know what that does to me.” “I know. But it’s covered,” she reasoned. It didn’t matter to Max. He still knew it was there, and he was looking at it right now. “You remember what I said,” he rumbled in a warning voice. “I do,” Mia said, turning to shoot him a come make love to me smile. She was reeling him in, and she had him: hook, line, and sinker. “I’m a man of my word,” he told her dangerously. “And we’ll be late for the ball.” Not that he cared. His balls were blue, and who the hell would really miss him anyway? “It won’t exactly be the first time.” Mia turned and put her arms around his neck. Max was a goner, but he didn’t even try to hide it. He scooped her into his arms and kissed her as he carried her to their bedroom, Mia’s laughter echoing throughout their huge home, a home that was now completely filled with love. They weren’t late for the ball; they never even went. Max sent an apology the next day, but it was just a formality, a note claiming something urgent had come up. Really, he wasn’t actually sorry at all, and the excuse wasn’t exactly a lie. But he couldn’t tell the whole truth…that they had never made it out of the house that night all because of a silky red dress, a sexy tattoo, and a certain something that really had urgently come up!

Another great story! I love the way they glide into one another. It is like a continuous story that keeps you wanting to read more and more to find out what happens next.

It’s been two years since Max’s wife Mia disappeared in a drowning accident however Max has never been able to accept that she is gone. All his attempts to track her down are futile until he sees a woman at the park who doesn’t look like his wife, but she makes him feel like his wife did and he knows that it must be her.After a fall Mia may have lost her memory but there is no denying the feelings that Max inspires in her but when her memory returns will it bring them closer or tear them apart?There is no denying that Max and Mia are soulmates and the chemistry between them is intense. It was nice to see Max get the happy ever after he deserves after all the pain he endured. I received a complimentary copy of the audiobook and thought the narrator did a great job with both characters.

The prologue of this as distressing. It was like, "Where are we going from here?" Then surprise! "Just kidding." Wow! Working on a bit of whiplash here. This entire book was a bit of a roller coaster. Sad. Happy. Terrified. Ecstatic. Emotions all over the place. Even a few bruises. An engaging story.

This is the story of Mia and Max. Two people that were meant to be together, but struggled to open up and be themselves. Each thought they had to make themselves into someone that the other wanted. All they really needed to do was open up, trust in each other, and just be themselves. A rocky road, but will they find love at the end, together? Another great read. I'm really loving these billionaire books. The characters and their journeys are such a joy to read.

The Billionaire Obsession is completely my Obsession. Max's story blew me away, it reminded me that miracles can happen and love truly does conquer all.I have become addicted to Author JS Scott's alpha males. She takes me to a world where I get lost in her stories and hold my breath for the happy ever after.Anyone that has read her books knows, she can't not give her characters a happy ever after and honestly thank God for that. Many times I have thought, OMG! what's going to happen next and Max's story was no different.Max is a gorgeous man with a broken heart, he's never gotten over losing his wife, Mia. When I heard Max's story was going to become available, I couldn't wait to find out who would heal his heart and show him the love he so very much deserved.Like all billionaire's, he has power and money, but he's missing having family in his life, this is all about to change. His life is about to be turn upside down in more ways than one, he's going to learn many secrets that have been kept from him by people he has known and trusted. Even I found it hard to comprehend why they did such a thing but in life or death situations people do things to protect the ones they love.Max is not about to let anything happen to the ones he loves again. He will not stop until he gets what he wants, no matter how he has to do it. Billionaire Alpha male at it's very possessive best. Reading these books makes my toes curl.I will always recommend this series because no matter what, it's the happy ever after we all crave and this Author does it with perfection.

What can i say i loved having max's story in my hand after finding his sister and thinking his wife was died how lucky he is to get a second chance with his true love! Mias not died and he gets his life back in order until her memory comes back and she remembers why she ran away in the first place, only she didnt know that her brother was getting her into the city to tell her she dont have to hide nomore she is out of danger but she runs before he has chance.Max finds her again though not wanting to leave without her again , only to find that while they have been apart they both have gotten something smilliar as a reminder of each other.Its such a love book and great for the series j.s.scott is a fantastic writer and i would say read any of the books you can starting with this whole series

I was so disappointed in this Max #3. It was absolutely waste of money and time. I bought it thinking it was going to be as good as Simon #1 which was a good read but the rest got question marks on them.
