The only issue I ran into was that the factory sensor takes a much larger socket to remove. Just beware because it threw me, a seasoned mechanic for a loop since it’s hard to see down there. Good news is that a standard set of deep impact sockets will work even though they are fairly thick. The sensor seems to work as it should. I would buy it again and avoid paying $95 at the parts store. Be careful not to over tighten! It’s a nice O-ring seal.

I purchased this for my 2001 24v that had the original oil pressure gauge stuck at 80 psi all the time. The old gauge was 27mm, or 1 1/16 inch socket to remove it, and the new sensor is the same size. Idle pressure is now showing 40 psi, so this gauge fixed my issue. Well worth the $21

Was pretty skeptical because of how cheap it was compared to new oem. Surprisingly it’s been working for past two weeks. The 3 prong sensors are harder to find and are more expensive for the 98.5-00 24v I think after that they converted to 2 prong oil switch verses being an actual sensor.This is my first review just figured I’d put it out there if there were other people struggling to find a replacement. As of now it works, time will tell how long.

This does not fit a 2001 3500 dodge dully. It will screw in no problem, but the electrical connector will not connect.
