It puts in place a foundation for thinking about Chinese Medicine that is not taught in most TCM schools .Ann is a clinician and a teacher. In my experience she avoids many of the traps of studying Classical Chinese Medicine. She focuses on framework for how to approach a problem instead of trying to find all the answers by studying the classics with an academic lense. If you follow her steps , really look at and listen to your patients and observe what is happening you will deepen your clinical skills with every patient interaction.Her practical, no-nonsense focus on the moment with a patient has been transformative in how I practice .
