Working out well despite initial concerns
3 YEARS IN: I have two of them I use everyday. I just bought a third. If combination lock is the route you wish to go this thing will get the job done. It ain't perfect but FAR better than average. I like and recommend it.9 MONTHS IN: I used this every day for my commute and it has worked out well. I like it and have no interest in replacing it as I'd expected. The recessed numbers are a pain but I generally use the middle two and they are very workable. The yellow rubber on the bottom of the U is starting to loosen and I will guess come off soon. The bike connector for carrying it while riding ended up settling in on the frame below the seat going backwards toward the wheel. It works here well except the piece on the look which clicks in place spins far too easily and I'm always having to move it back 90 degrees then setting it in place. A minor pain but very tolerable.I like it. I'd recommend it with a few caveats mentioned.EDIT: Despite all my concerns below, I'm using it daily pretty happily, using the middle rings only to work the combination. I like it and bumped it up to 4 stars.INITIAL BELOW:Initial thoughts on first use are not positive, this thing is huge and heavy. Don't know what all is in the combo section of the lock but it better be good cause it is HUGE. The directions for the attachment to bike when not in use have you attaching the lock to strange locations on side of frame which is going to be in the way. Think the only reason they do this is because this thing is HUGE (specifically the cap to the U is huge). It is making my keyed kryptonite ulock look mighty good at the moment. Also, I'm right handed and drive combo locks with right hand. I can't access the right hand number because my thumb doesn't fit because they made the case on the right of this ring far too large to allow a finger to turn it comfortably. So, I have to use the right hand for 2 rings of the combination and my left hand for the last ring on the right. Bad design.I'll be back after further attempts to use this lock but initially it is not looking like it is going to be useful. Did I mention the cap on the U is HUGE ?EDIT: If I was going to hacksaw this lock, I'd look for the smallest diameter portion of the U. Most locks there is only one diameter. This lock has a smaller diameter at the end of the U on both sides where it inserts to the cat to lock. This would be fine if it went into the cap and disappeared so you didn't see it. On this lock the U doesn't got all the way into the cap and these smaller diameter portions of the lock are visible and available for hacking.More, I said the right ring was not turnable with my right thumb, it turns out neither end combo number rings are turnable easily because of the design on each side of them being to tight and too large. Might just as well be a 2 digit lock cause I can't turn the outside ones with it sitting in front of me on my desk let alone trying to do it quickly to lock or unlock the bike. Bad design.

DOES NOT INCLUDE CABLE
The photo is deceptive. There is no cable included

Good for a few years then breaks
Second time I've had this lock and the end cap comes off and lock won't work. Granted it's been four years but I treat the lock well and don't bang it around.

Hard to operate
This lock seems solid enough, and the shackle is large enough to fit around many things you might lock a bike to. But it turns out to be pretty difficult to operate.Negatives:1: The combination mechanism's wheels are recessed sufficiently to be hard to manipulate (especially the first and last wheels). This slows you down a lot unlocking the lock compared to other combination bike locks we have used.2: The correct numbers have to line up along an index mark on the side of the lock. The index mark is the same color as the plastic it's molded into, and it's thus hard to see. The photo shows these marks in white, but that wasn't the case on the lock we got. Given they printed yellow in other areas of the same part I don't understand why they didn't make these index marks stand out better.3: After setting the correct combination you need to slide a button over with quite a bit of force to actually open the lock. It's probably fine for most adults, but will be difficult for anyone under about 7.4: The shackle only fits into the locking mechanism in one direction. Our keyed U-locks can go on either way and once you've become accustomed to that it is much nicer. Our young kids had trouble with points 1-3 above. Since we bought the lock to secure their bikes we needed a different solution. We ended up ordering an Abus Rayado 1360 instead and are much happier. Of course the Abus isn't a U lock and costs more, but we despaired of finding a combination U lock we would like. We also weren't comfortable with the very low level of security offered by even relatively thick cable locks.

So far I'm rather pleased with this lock
So far I'm rather pleased with this lock. I wanted to avoid dealing with a key, so this was one of the few available U--locks that used a combination so I went with it, and glad I did. The mount is pretty cool as well.as others have mentioned, the bolt only goes in one way, the outer dials are better for small fingers and the release mechanism takes a little bit of strength, but I found none of those issues getting in my way. (I just alter the inner most dials).Transitioning from a combination-cable to this lock, I was a bit worried it might be more of a hassle, but it's actually quite practical, and I'm glad I went with this rather than one that had the hassle of using a key.

u lock
gave it 3 stars, feels good and secure. kinda confused on what product i was getting due to the 2 diff pics. i got a diff one then the one i ordered. easy to set combo. like some people already touched on, the last number is a lil hard to move/turn (right handed) but no big deal and deff not a deal breaker unless you have big sausage fingers. comes with a mount that can be set in any direction and put in a number of spots on the bike. I was trying to order the lock that had the bigger combo not the one that has small wheel of number but i ended up getting that one. hope this kinda helps. i would call co after you place your order and make sure you are getting the lock you see in the pic.

Awesome lock!
We needed to secure a gate located behind our church, and this lock was perfect!

Good lock
Using the lock almost daily on a bicycle tour for 5 weeks. Locks great, big enough for most needs, and I like the code instead of key (easy to lose a key!).One this that I'd improve is the tumbler for the code is inset a bit, therefore makes it a bit clumsy to get the combination to line up. Otherwise it does what it's meant to do.

Really cheap, don’t waste your money.
The media could not be loaded. I got this bike locker on January 3th and now in middle February, I’m really angry about the choice I did to bought this one. It’s winter in Montreal so I didn’t use it as I thought to do it. I wasn’t hard with and no one’s tried to steal my bike. It really broke for no reason. I lost 2 parts on the same side and the locker is stuck.I thought that having one without a key 🔑 would be great but… It would of take me more than a month and a half before I would lose my keys. 🤨🧐A big waste of money.

Sturdy, very solid.
It is a tough-built lock. You get what you pay for. Good, good quality! Highly recommended.
