Very versatile dual tip brush pen.
Perfect for brush calligraphy. Dual tip allows for more delicate lettering on smaller projects. The black ink is really strong giving excellent results on a variety of coloured back grounds. Having been on a KB brush calligraphy course I would highly recommend this pen for consistently good results, dries quickly and produces crisp even edges to lettering.

Perfect for calligraphy practise
This pen was recommended when I decided to try calligraphy during lockdown. It is easy to use with a good flow and is useful with the dual tips so you can create thick or thinner lines. I’m not sure if real calligraphers would use a pen or the traditional pen & ink but it certainly worked well for my needs.

Don’t last long and ends go fluffy quickly.
I received the book by Kirsten Burke as a present and she recommends this pen. It’s good and black but soon started to run out after a few pages of practice brush lettering. The brush tip started to disintegrate at the same time. Not great. (Buy Tombow Fudensuke as a longer lasting alternative - cheaper too).

The thinner side is worth the purchase
The thin side is perfect. It does exactly what you want it to do. It’s versatile too so you can be super light or a bit heavier. Honestly cannot recommend this product enough just for the smaller thinner pen. However, one star knocked off because the big brush pen side isn’t for calligraphy use. It’s just one thickness. I’ve tried using it in different ways but I can’t get it to go thinner or thicker, it’s just like a normal marker pen.

Just right
I really like the deep black of the ink. The big size is ideal for write on the front of A6 card and the small size to write the message inside. Excellent for beginners

Low quality
The thicker brush was flat when opened making it impossible to create the different brush strokes. Ink doesn't flow consistently through the thinner brush which is frustrating. Generally not a great quality product.
