We have been purchasing these compostable bags for years, and we like them a lot. They are the right size for bedroom and bathroom garbage pails, and they have proven to be very sturdy. We like the fact that the bags are compostable, and we plan to continue using them.

IThey are great compost bags and they are accepted as a compostable material by our county, so I can tie up any scraps for the green waste can each week. They are strong enough to hold a large load, and prevent smells and leakage. I have started using them as regular liners for smaller trash cans around the house.

I haven't had any leakage despite keeping food scraps in the bin for several days.

The box of 4 gallon compostable bags came crushed as it was packaged in a plastic bag, which negated the ability to just pull the next one out of the box.We are new to separating compost vs trash so have only used 2 bags. Both have held up great, no splits, tears, or drips. Right now that's a success.Not the bags problem (a local problem) is that the bags must last at least 2 weeks in the yard waste, since our yard waste pickup up is every two weeks. Much of the time there's very little "yard" waste (lawn clippings, leaves, pine needles) in these bins (spring and fall the exceptions). One suggestion from garbage company for odor control is put in freezer or frig. I don't have room and don't really want to buy a new one. So for now I'm giving this product a 4. If it can withstand the 2 week odor test I'll up date it to 5.

These work perfect for my small trash can in my bathroom AND my kitchen compost. We regularly use baby wipes and put them in this bag and so far, I have not experienced any leaks of moisture. I change the bag every Wednesday night/Thursday morning routinely so I am not sure how they hold up longer than a week. BUT my compost bin that I keep in my freezer has been in there for two weeks with no leaks or breakage due to the freezing temperature! I am pleased. Great price. Great product. The only con is that they are somewhar hard to tear off. But... I don't mind. Consider having someone pre-rip them for someone with limited arm/hand mobility.

These bags are quite nice. No odor 'seepage'. The material has that soft feel that legit compostable bags have, and these do break down nicely once in composting but are plenty sturdy while doing their doodie (yes, amazing pun intended). The only thing that takes some getting used to compared to regular bags is just how soft the material is and how well it translates tactile feel.......there is no mistaking that you are indeed picking up poo with these, so much so that I've had to double check and make sure I didn't accidentally grab it with my bare hands. I have four dogs so I pick up a lot of poo. Have been testing these for a couple months now and would absolutely recommend these as a much better and earth-friendlier alternative to regular bags. I've tested many bags over the years and I'm sticking with these from now on.

Great price. Since we have to recycle food scraps in California. this bag is great as you put the scraps in this bag & it can go into the green waste. Much cleaner than dumping food scraps into the green waste container by themselves. Regular plastic bags are not acceptable as they do not decompose timely. Only wish is that these bags would come in 6 gallon to better fit my container.
