Q: What are the ideal cooking instructions? I cooked these in the pressure cooker for the amount of time I usually do (30 min.) and they turned to mush.

In a medium saucepan, bring about 4 cups salted water to a boil. Rinse fave under cold water, and add beans to boiling water along with 2-3 whole garlic cloves for flavor, plus 1 TBs olive oil. Reduce boil and simmer on low for a good hour or longer, stirring at 15 min intervals. Beans should become mushy. Keep stirring and checking until beans melt into a puree consistency. Turn off heat, and let sit covered until ready to serve. Fave are supposed to dissolve into a mushy consistency. Serve over blanched greens.
