Useful for gravity fed bolus meals if you have a button type g-tube
I use this as a holder for gravity fed meals. ( have a feeding tube) It works perfectly for this purpose, as there is the hole at the bottom of the cup so the tubing can come down through it. I posted about it on my website (tubechic.com) if you want to learn more about how it works for me. I do have a low profile button type g-tube, so I use extension sets. I don't think it would be that helpful if you have a dangler type g-tube.This cup holder is very well made, and the grip is strong. No worries at all about it sliding down whatever it is clamped onto.I use the ROBOCUP in conjunction with the FIFO (brand) condiment bottles to hold my meals. These bottles are available on Amazon too. You'll need to get the "precision dispenser tip" in addition to the basic bottle that ships though. This cap is on Amazon as well, but last I looked, the vendor was charging way too much. Its a better deal to get the tip somewhere else. The reason I use the bottles, is they open on both ends, so air can displace contents of the bottle, and meals can flow out. No pouring into a syringe needed. There is a post about the FIFO on Tube Chic too. (and a short video showing it in action) You can either just loosen the end once the bottle is inverted for a meal, or get the vented cap for that end of the bottle too. I don't think this is on Amazon (I purchased the vented caps directly from FIFO)The ROBOBCUP and FIFO bottle are winning combinations for hassle free, spill free gravity fed meals.

BEST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD
These things are awesome. Bought one to clamp to my Millenium Marine rod holders in my boat. Slots make for easy mounting of other things to the side to hold all my crap. Really cleans up the bow of my boat. Options are almost endless. They will clamp tightly to round stock probably as small as 1/2in. and maybe up to 2 inches. It holds well on my seat post and it's a Ranger 1.77 diameter. These are so useful that I bought 2 more and just got them yesterday. I did drill 2 small holes in the removable cap on the bottom to allow water to drain. Not a manufacturing problem, I just like taking a good product and making it work better for me. This is one of those products that when you pick it up, you say "why didn't I think of that?" These would make perfect gifts for for any guy, no matter what they are into. And there is a pink one for the ladies too. Of course my wife wants one of those.

Almost awesome, falls short.
Okay, this is a seriously well engineered item. The spring is strong, it is very high quality.Unfortunately, it is designed for 5 years ago.It needs to be just a little bigger. The picture in the description shows a 30 ounce yeti double insulated cup. This is a very common beach cup in 2018. Unfortunately, to get the yeti to sit down that far, you really have to shove it hard in there. If it was 1/2” inch wider it would be perfect. As it is, it is holding the yeti with a snow cone friction fit. You get the same mediocre for with a 20 ounce yeti. The yeti can koozie won’t even fit in the holder because it isn’t tapered at the bottom. Will it work? Yes. Will it work great? No.Hopefully version 2.0 will account for that. If it does it is a slam dunk 5 Star. Until then it is a three star.

Will hold on like a Pit Bull
Mine arrived cracked. I think someone bought it, tried to attach it by pinching the two holders together and just strained the plastic. Doesn't affect function. I put this on my raft, accidentally left it on and it didn't blow off while the raft was buffeted by 60+ mile an hour wind on my truck. It stays on. Problem is that it doesn't level. So unless you have a 'dead-upright' point of attachment, it's going to lean or be 'off level' by whatever you have it clipped on. And tbh the cup holder part is only good for up to a 25 ounce can. Or a very very tapered cup. I don't know why this couldn't have been engineered to take a slightly large cup and everything smaller with those little bulges they have in car holders. Again, no biggie. I think you'll like your RoboCup - but twenty five dollars worth? Maybe?I bought this because it is durable, clamps on and levels itself and takes a bigger cup. https://amzn.to/2Z1znha

Pure Awesome!
Pure Awesome!A cup holder should not make someone as happy as this thing does! Sure its a little expensive compared to other cup holders but this one is so much more versatile and well built.I am using it on a mobility scooter, aka Electric Convenience Vehicle ECV. It clamps right onto the front tiller bar. Convenient to hold drinks (of course), snacks, keys, and even portable battery packs for charging my phone. It doesn't get in the way of my knees, I don't even have to remove it when I fold the tiller bar down for transportation.I'm going to get one for my cousin who is a drummer because I think it would be really useful for that application too!

Very strong hold.
We purchased these for our boat so we didn't have to put any holes in it.. They arrived in a box on time. It takes us both arms to open it up to hook it to out boat so I doubt it will go anywhere. Also has holes to use zip ties to make sure it doesn't go anywhere. I attached pictures so you have an idea of what kind of items it can hold. We are going to use theme for the first time today. Will update if they did not work or something happens.

AMAZING... purchased another IMMEDIATELY!!
I bought the stronger grip robot up and one large accessory cup for a friends pontoon boat that didn’t have enough cup holders. We used it one day and within the first hour everyone was raving over it!! The grip power is insane. No one thought it would hold on the square tubing either BUT IT DID!! We clipped it onto the posts by the ladder when we are swimming near the back of the boat and we loved it so much we came back for another for the front of the boat when swimming. Of course we could easily move it but we loved it so much (the larger accessory cup too) that we bought another set. It will grip believe me!! If your hesitating DONT!!This is a great product my only thought would be...sometimes the place you May want to clip it is horizontal it would be nice if there was a horizontal clip version or a way to make the clip swivel to fit either way!!!AMAZING PRODUCT ... BUY IT.

Sturdy cup
I recently bought a DIT cart for photography tethering and added this robo cups to the side of it, the quality is really good and sturdy, the clamps that attach to the cart are very strong and they have anti slip material, perfect for a coffee while shooting on location

Brilliant
Best bit of kit we bought, funnily enough. Raises a smile wherever we go - "do you seriously have cup holders on that wheelchair?!" - and means that neither of us had to be without a cocktail at Secret Cinema, whether I was pushing or he was self propelling. :-)
