Good Purchase
Still going strong, quiet and working well 4 years in. Well worth it for the price, and plenty of power even for a larger size pool.

Quiet
Pump shows up rdy to run. Plug and play, but No on off switch, so you'll need a cutoff at the plug. Has a 115/230 covered switch. Runs quiet!

COMPLETE GARBAGE - DO NOT BUY THIS PUMP
The media could not be loaded. This pump is a complete piece of garbage. I had seen a few other folks saying the pump had issues, but you know, take reviews with a grain of salt right? I figured, my need is a very light-duty no frills pump, pushing water from an above-ground rainwater collection tank thru a filter into the pool. So, no hard priming suction, no tiny pipes, easy light duty use. I might run it once a month or so to move 200 gallons, that's about it. So i figured I'd give it a shot.Well, yeah... it's a completely useless pile of garbage. It started out working MOSTLY, with an occasional failure to start, or it would run for a few seconds then shut off. But when it did finally run, it was good, no issues in moving 200 gallons of water exactly as you'd expect. Well, this failure to start thing got worse and worse. After just 4 1/2 months it's gotten so bad that it fails to start consistently, and if it starts, it runs for a fraction of a second then quits, and then fails to start again.Watch the attached video. I made sure to make the switch nice and loud on the video so you can clearly hear when I am turning it on and off each time. And yes I know it looks like there's algae in the basket, as I said above, moving water from an above ground storage tank thru a filter and into my pool. The filter and chlorine take care of the algae so I don't care if there's some in there. So, save your time and energy, DO NOT BUY THIS PUMP.

Product life span /warranty
I’m giving a 2 star rating for the moment . I bought this pump in September of 2024 . It’s not had a lot of use between then and now . It died the other day . Turning it on it just hums and through the breaker . Most of us say hey thats a bad start capacitor ! But it checks out good . I spin the shaft and it starts up .I contacted the company and I’m waiting to hear back . Oddly which I didn’t catch was there’s no warranty info posted on Amazon nor the MF’s web site that I could find . Also it’s my fault that I didn’t realize what this company specializes in which is not pool pumps . LolAlso I’m not sure this pump is rated for outdoor use it sure does not look like it is . So I’ll see how they handle this if there’s no replacement then this review will stand and you should avoid this product without clear warranty info .I will say it’s quiet and its flow rate is good when running . lol wish it was a two speed .Update ; contact with company via email sent some possible repair options which worked . It involves some mechanical skills so be aware .Company response was fast so that’s another plus . Bottom line pool up and running again .😊

One Year Fail
After One year and a few months, this thing is Leaking a lot where the motor connects to the pool pump filter basket housing, and the top of the basket cover does not seal the motor stll runs but the rest is plastic trash. it is not worth the money to purchase and have to replace again in a less than two year time period My Rating for this. Chinese Earth Clutter . GARBAGE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!The only thing I didn't Like was the Install manual It should be more specific as to the 115 or 230v It doesn't seem to be on the motor Lable as to what it was set at. that said it is prettty straight forward. These are obviously sold for the Do it your selfers so you better have a decent knowledge of electrical. Ive personally screwed in a light bulb or two so it was pretty simple for me. To All the Nay sayers.... One its all hooked up fill the thing up with water put the cap on and turn it on. It pulled water and primed straight away. The thing is whisper quiet and very smooth running. If anything changes I'll be sure to Update this.IF YOUR WIRING FROM A TIMER, 230/240 WIRE COLORS MAY VARY, CUT THE PLUG OFF USE THE EXISTING WIRES AND BE SURE TO MOVE THE BACK PLATE SWITCH TO 240 OR "H" as it may be marked.
