Great knife for what I purchased it for
I bought this knife to keep in my rescue squad turnout gear as I was looking for an inexpensive, assisted opening knife I can operate one-handed while on water rescues. The knife exceeded my expectations for the price point. The thick, hefty blade is solid and locks open securely. Of course the imported stainless means it is not likely to hold an edge, but I generally only use the point or the serrated section of the blade on rescues so this is not important to me.Since this knife had the window breaking stud and the seatbelt cutter I chose it over the plethora of other knives available. Prior to placement in my turnout gear I carried it around a while, repeatedly opening and closing it, no less than 200 times. The assisted open function continues to work flawlessly and the main blade screw and screws holding the body together are still tight. After tumbling around in my toolbox and pocket the black coating on the outside of the knife is still flawless, as is the coloring on the sides of the blade. The big test was an extrication drill where I tested the functionality of this knife as a rescue tool. The point of the knife easily punctured the sidewall of two of the car's tires and the straight section of the blade cut through the tire stem of the other tires with moderate force, so if needed to help stabilize the vehicle the knife can perform either technique. The window stud broke the window with a single hard strike. It works, but requires precision of the strike and quite a bit of force, so it will never replace a spring loaded punch, except in the most dire of emergencies. That only leaves the seat belt cutter. In a battle between the seatbelt and the cutter the seatbelt won without a scratch. I could not tell if this failure was due to the sharpness (dullness?) or angle of the seatbelt cutting blade. However, the serrated part of the blade shredded the seatbelt. Unfortunately, if I were performing an actual extrication the blade length and point on the blade renders it too dangerous to use the blade to cut a seatbelt on a real call, so I will continue to use EMT shears for cutting the seatbelt.Summary: The knife is a bit too heavy and long (in my opinion) to carry around as an everyday pocket knife, not to mention the assisted blade is frowned upon by the local gendarmerie, but this knife is well worth the money. I was surprised in the craftsmanship of the building and coating on a knife this inexpensive; it has a nice solid feel and after weeks of use/play it remains solid with no wear or loose screws. Great tool for the price!Pros:Easy one hand openingBody: solid build and uniform, heavy duty black coating on body (and blade)Blade: strong point, sturdy serrated section and LOOKS AWESOMESturdy locking mechanismCons:Seat belt cutter couldn't cut seat beltWindow stud works but there are better tools for thisIf you use the straight blade for cutting it will need frequent sharpening

Twisted Pig's TAC-FORCE TF-710BK A.O.F.K 5inch Knife Review.
Tac Force TF-710 Series Assisted Opening Folding Knife 5-Inch ClosedTwisted Pig's Review /Twstedpig @ Facebook. This knife arrived to me in 2 days after ordering, I must say overall I am Impressed with this blade and would highly recommend it for carrying with you when you're out in town, it makes a great Self Defense weapon, In Self Defense Scenario the Spike on the end can be used as a Pressure Point Poke which also delivers a Painful jolt, this Feature can also be used in survival situation for Breaking Glass, I Went so far as to even test it on Glass to test it's durability and I will say that the Knife Tested Positive and Effective on Car Glass and Windows. The Belt Cutter Located on the handle is efficient for cutting belts in a Situation or even straps and metal wire. This Product is very well build and put together Despite all the negative reviews listed on here the Blade comes out perfectly fine which you apply pressure to the Ejector Assisted Folder Switch. Perhaps those who had purchased this product may have received a Knife that was handled and banged around in the Truck. This Knife is Also a slight bit heavy but Balancing point can be located for the blade on the 2nd strip from the Handle Guard, This is where your Balance point is. This Blade overall was Well Made with a 440 Stainless Steel Edge, This knife I tested on Paper and it sliced through like butter with no Catching, A perfect knife for everyday use and carry. The Serrated Edge works well for Scaling Fish and Sawing Through Small Bone. Also this Blade Features "Blood Letters." those small holes used when defensive to cause More rapid Bleeding, Also this Blade when used on Meat will draw out very easily as well, how do I know all this you ask? I Hunt, Fish, and Also study Self Defense. So this Knife is very Detailed and High Quality, It's feel and look is comparable to a 70 Dollar Gerber Knife, It's Tight Fits in the hand well, However the Handle is slick made off plastic but It feels like Metal, Also Featured on this Blade is Notches at the Top of the Blade used for the Thumb to Allow Assisted Precision Cuts. The Belt clip is very decent, however I remove mine from my knives for "Mini." Pocket use in my most of my Jean Pants. I must say the Screws where a Pain to Remove so I see it very Unlikely your going to snap this off your belt, the highest Possibility is for you to simply loose the knife from your pocket rather than it snap off and drop, Then again this Bad Boy is so Heavy you can hear it drop for a Mile away. Also the Blade is Razor Sharp so one should be advised to take precaution when using there fingers to test the blade which in my Opinion is rather Unsafe anyways. Test it on Paper it will slice through with ease, I have used this Knife all day to cut through Meat and used it for my Deer and Animal Skins, and it works well for removing Skin and after 12 Hours of use this Blade has yet to Fail me yet, I am the Kind of person who receives a 100 Dollar Gerber Knife and ends up destroying it in less than 4 hours after use. This Knife I'm Impressed with, It has Survived so far and I am Satisfied with my Order, Thank you Tac-Force for delivering me such a fine product and I wish you all the best of luck with upcoming Sales, Thank you and to those out there Planning on buying this Knife, It is the best 10.00 You will ever spend on a Knife. Not to Mention that when Folded out it looks like a Miniature Combat Survival Military Blade. ~Twisted Pig.~

Needs sharpening but worth it.
(copied from my review for the TF-705)I bought this and the TF-710, this knife (TF 705) is a great knife for very cheap. It opens easily for me (decently strong fingers) and the blade came pretty sharp (7/10) which is very good for an $8 knife. The only design flaw is the bottle opener can only be used with the knife open( not sure why you need this on a knife anyways). In comparison to the TF-710 (within $1 in price) if you're deciding. This knife has a little bit smoother deployment, is lighter and has quicker spring action than the TF 710. Although the TF 710 is heavier and a bit more intimidating (looks cool too), I would call this knife more of a quick deployed utility blade and the TF 710 a possible self defense blade. The TF-710 is a little rougher and not as polished, didn't come as sharp (5/10) although a quick sharpening will fix that, the finish wasn't as perfect but everything worked fine just a little longer pull on the spring deployment. The finish had little blemishes on close examination and the knife is a little loose but for $9 this is an amazing deal..I like the seat belt cutter on the TF-710 and I have no real use for a bottle opener on my knife, I feel like both glass breakers work but I would be more comfortable using the the bigger TF-710's. I would rate this knife 5 stars for what it is, a great smooth spring assisted opening knife for cheap. I would give the TF-710 four stars for being just as great but a little less well polished even though it has more utility. The TF 705 can be closed with one hand, the TF 710 is a little too big for that and requires a second hand to close the blade unless your hands are large. In summation, I will use the TF 710 on duty as an EMT, and the TF 705 for other times.
