Full Parts Replacement Housing Shell Pack for Gameboy Advance SP Ruby (SP GRO)

Very nice exterior. If you have some patience, you can get your old gameboy color sp to look brand new! Very pleased with how it came out. Although the bottom shell is a tad misaligned, you would not notice it unless you looked for it. Doesn’t effect the aesthetic or playability either.

This case gave new life to my Nintendo. You can barely tell it was modified.

Looks great but the plastic feels flimsy. The screws that come with this kit are not the appropriate length. I had to use the original screws from my old Gameboy SP to make it work.

This reshell was definitely worth the purchase. I was worried it would’ve looked super cheap in person, but it definitely does not! The assembly was also pretty easy (especially for a first timer). I don’t have any complaints!

Feels and looks very cheap, like it could break at any second if you put too much pressure on it. It also did not fit very well and took some effort to install due to that.I was planning on doing a full replacement for a broken shell on a GBA but ended up only replacing the back due to the plastic feeling so bad to hold.I usually don’t leave reviews, much less negative ones, but this was very disappointing.

Came with everything as described, and honestly looks fantastic once installed. The feel of the shell is a little cheaper than OEM shells however that has more to do with how it feels in your hands rather than how the console itself looks. Make sure you have your own hinges, whether it's from your GBA SP or purchased online. The hardware for the most part fits pretty well with the shell, I do have a slight problem on the part connecting the screen and the buttons but nothing that would be too noticeable and the screws that it comes with feel a little sturdier than the original ones so that's also nice. Only complaint I really have with it is that the holes where the screws go into are not pre-drilled, meaning the first time you screw in each screw you need to do it with a good amount of pressure. That being said as long as you apply firm pressure and take it slow making sure not to strip any screws you should be just fine.
