Those are great for wearing badges that need to open stuff or possibly keys.

I used these for work. Love that they are breakaway, they look nice, and the key chain is retractable so I don't have to bend down to open doors.

Bought this bundle and have been using one for over a month. Good quality, no issues with the retractable cord. It is a little hard to break away so if you work in a field that it high risk for being grabbed you may want to pull it apart several times so it won’t be as difficult.

For the price, these work well. It's nice having a plain black lanyard PLUS the badge reel so I don't look like a fool trying to open doors at work. Having the breakaway snap on the back is great- it's safer in the event it gets caught on something or someone tries to grab it.These lanyards are reaaaaally long though. With the lanyard and then the badge reel, it was just too long for my needs. I read another reviewer advise that you can open the breakaway snaps (carefully), trim the lanyard, and close the snaps back. This is true, but I broke one trying it. Oops. Be very gentle- there are two prongs on the side of the part that opens-- if you wind up missing those because you opened it too forcefully, it will NOT close again. It will, however, close with one. I'm not sure exactly how secure the one-pronged side is, so I have a backup lanyard at work with me. But the one-pronged one has held up for 3 weeks now (work M-F, 9 hours a day, and use the badge reel about 5-6 times per day), so fingers crossed it keeps on keepin' on!I do find that my badge always flips around to the wrong side, so I'm not sure what the deal is with that, but at least it's there. These are great if you need to wear a badge for work but get sick of clipping badges to your shirt or belt (where I work, they have to be above the waist), plus the added safety bonus of the breakaway clip at the back.

Needed this for work to use daily, we have to display our work ID and need to scan it in order to get to areas where you need to be staff only, helps to have the retractable lead so i dont have to take it on and off anymore. Seem well made, no issues so far. Time will tell how long the retractable lead functions

This is my second purchase of this product. The first one lasted through six years of heavy use, taking my ID out many times each day and even using it to hold keys so the reel got very heavy use. When it finally died, I mistakenly purchased another brand to replace it and regretted it immediately. I was happy to find these again!! These are made from comfortable, soft, thick, tubular knit ribbon so there is no rubbing, have a breakaway join behind the neck for safety, and they are long enough for tall persons. I tie a square knot above the reel to shorten it a bit ... the ribbon knots so nicely that it looks good. Will purchase again in another six years! Definitely recommend!

I’m required to use break-away lanyards at work and these are honestly perfect. Very comfy, well-made and a bargain. I buy the multipacks just to give out to my team when they need because the price is so good for what you get. Everyone loves them.

You never really think about this. "Is this Lanyard going to hold up against the test of time?"Kind of a bizzare question. But these bad boys (great value btw, 5 pack) have been through the wringer. I have 3 kids and all of them like pull the string and snap em. Hell, I do too sometimes when I'm at my desk. I have yet to use the other 4 because the first one I got has help up great since I bought them (almost a year now).The clip still works--it doesn't come apart easyThe elastic string still suck up nice and tight so my badge doesn't flop aroundThe material its made out of doesn't pull any of the tiny neck hairs out on the back of the neck.I must say, these are some great Lanyards
