They sound great
I got 4 of these for a podcast. Paired them with the Rodecaster Pro 2 and boy do they sound good! They are made very solid. Feels like metal all around. They are pretty heavy so make sure you don't get some cheap little stand.

Excellent Mics for Spoken Word applications
The Podmic is very well built. An all metal chasis and must be the heaviest microphone I have handled. If you try to use it without a stand (as a hand-held mic), your arm will get tired in about a minute..It has a great sound quality. It has a decent (not excellent) pop filter, but would recommend that you use an external pop filter. It has a great sound for spoken word applications such as voice-overs and audio books. I am currently using it to record an audiobook and this has just eased a lot of my work. I highly recommend.

Pleased!
I purchased the Mics as part of my plan for future podcasts and YouTube broadcasts. I received them in less than a week. I connected one to an old Behringer 4 channel USB mixer which has phantom power. The mic sounds terrific! I am limited in how I can adjust it right now but was surprised with it's performance. I do plan to purchase a Rodecastor Pro in the near future. Just buy it and you would have spent your money well. It's a good value!

Sound great with a quality preamp.
You’ll need a quality preamp with these. There are commonly used ones with this mic set-up available on Amazon. I use a 25db booster for each mic and a preamp due to them being dynamic microphones as opposed to condenser mics. (This means the output of the mic, in simple terms, will be low without a signal booster). It’s common to use preamps or boosters with this type of mic.The sound quality is solid for the price. Room acoustics will need to be taken into account. For a decent set-up there are many live and post production equalizers, compressors & noise-gates that are free. OBS live switching software is also free and is commonly used well with these mics for podcasts etc. Enjoy !
