Strong clean and crisp
You'd think unfiltered would be worse but it's not. I was skeptical when first trying it but now it's my favourite lager. It's strong so you don't need loads but you can really taste it's unfiltered. I find standard Stella has a little chemical taste but this tastes like it is more natural and hasn't been messed around with. On a warm day it's great and has a clean crisp taste. The green and white colour with the extra high paper round the bottle cap sets it apart and is different. Perfect on a summer's day.

Lager with some actual flavour, one of the better budget options
The UK has ruined lager for us as most brands have moved to being UK produced and special low ABV recipes for duty reasons. Even some imported ones are now made to a UK market recipe (hi Estrella). The end result is lots of similar and lacking in taste beer.Stella Unfiltered is still made here, but at least it has gone for it with a strong flavour profile and a sensible 5% ABV. It is definitely a bit marmite, if you are mainly into lighter beers such as American, Mexican or Italian options then this is not for you. If you like a bit more omph though this is good stuff, and often 24 for £20 👍

Stella Unfiltered
Love this product, I drink stella either way but this is smoother to my tastebuds and not as heavy as the traditional Stella. Feels more flowing and fine tastingI will purchase again when they are on offer! Lovely

Closer to what Stella used to be like
I've completely given up on buying the 'normal' Stella these days as in addition to reducing the %ABV the flavour profile has been altered dramatically, and definitely not for the better! I am not overly bothered by the reduced alcohol content but it now just tastes watery and bland. I'd say cheap supermarket own brand stubbies taste nicer than normal Stella these days. Stella Unfiltered, however, is a massive improvement!I remember this being launched a couple of years ago and was sold on great deals everywhere, but it then seemed to disappear a bit. I'm glad Amazon are still selling this and I managed to get 2 packs of 12 for £22. Great vaule. Get some!
