Fiendishly Clever! Sonically Effective!
Really pleased with this pedal. Its really well made and sturdy, plus ridiculously easy to setup and use. Also there is the convenient option of battery power (4 x AA, not currently included, but there is an empty, perfectly sized compartment within the packaging box that looks suspiciously as though this was either once the case or simply intended to be so).The resulting vocal harmonies are stunning in their audible authenticity. Also there's a bonus because, somewhat unexpectedly, it functions as a volume booster (not a feature I've seen in any of the specifications) effectively taking my powered PA speaker's maximum to "eleven".Perhaps all vocal enhancement pedals have this effect, but this is my first such piece of kit.A foot click of the pedal oscillates between harmony effects on and off, but leaves any reverb settings "permanently" active, while a more prolonged press and release deactivates all vocal effects so as to facilitate speaking clarity. The physical instrument throughput further enhances the harmony effect by encouraging chord/note compliance (moreso chords). Fiendishly clever and sonically effective. This pedal used to retail at around £200, so the current £125 makes it a relative bargain.

Amazing piece of kit
Sounds amazing. Loads of different harmonies to go with any song. Also would like to add that I have this working perfectly fine inline with the TC Helicon Mic Mechanic. I’ve seen some reviews saying that you can’t use both at the same time. You just need to use two lines. One for your mic and one for your guitar. I also have my guitar going through an acoustic EQ pedal before the two vocal pedals with no noticeable delay.

It's extraordinary!
Bought this for my granddaughter whose taking singing lessons. However her teacher doesn't approve because of the tone button. It corrects your pitch if your a bit off and that's not what you want if you're training. So I'm playing with the pedal, I've never been much of a singer, but this is extraordinary, hey! I'm good! Instructions say you have to play chords/chord through it to teach it the correct key, but it seems to work on major keys without. Minor keys however don't come out quite right unless you input the chords. So I shall keep this until granddaughter has finished her grades and give it to her then. Or maybe not?Doug

Brilliant kit but went wrong trouble returning it
Brilliant kit but would help to have instructions in box or a website to visit for same, and for nearly £200 I would have thought the power lead would have been included so not useable straight away,UPDATE after 6 months, used it 3 times on gigs and it now has stopped working so now trying to contact seller to return,,trouble is no contact detailsAnother update.... just got an e mail saying out or returns period but they would contact the manufacturer OR I COULD DO IT MYSELF,no help with tel number or e mail just a fob off and £200 out of pocket afterv6 months, stay well clear of this supplier , product is good when it workedAnother up date..... now asked to return it after last comment, so I have sent first class post and tracked, now after 2 weeks no e mail saying it’s recieved,or what’s happening i.e. They are fixing it,replacing it,or sending it back, looks like I have now even lost the broken kit. Not a happy customer

Works well and certainly adds something to the vocal sound
I've had a more complicated vocal harmoniser in the past but just didn't get on with it. I thought I'd try again with this simple model and it seems just great. The battery life is not so long so one needs to take spares if, for example you are gigging. Otherwise plugged in there is no issue and it works very well.

Harmonises everything!
I’ve got one - it’s great for various voice harmonies and I don’t think it’s meant for guitars or other instruments, because a guitar sounds horrendous through it and drums sound like a total cacophony - which is fair enough apart from the fact that unless you have a decent uni directional mic the pedal will pick up the instruments and ‘harmonise’ them as well as your voice and it sounds awful.

Great unit for simple harmonies
This is a great product and does all that it's set out to do. The harmonies sound good and clean with no vocal lag. It does need a guitar or other instrument to be plugged in as it uses the guitar notes or chords to produce the correct harmonies in tune. For the price it is very good and TC-Helicon has other more expensive vocal processors like "Vocal Live 2" that work standalone and produce all sorts of unbelievable effects and multi harmonies. I am very happy with this product which I use primarily with a semi-acoustic guitar.
