Great product but the temperature settings are on the bottom and difficult to see.
I have been doing chocolates for years. With the induction stove my double boiler no longer worked and all the ones I could find were too large. I tried a cheaper item that had non stick coating so you could not use metal utensils and the temperature was difficult to regulate. I saw this on that used water so I thought I would try it. I love it!!! The chocolate tempurature is easy to maintain which makes things so much easier when dipping or doing candy molds. Clean up is super easy. Other than the temperature settings being upside down there is no down side that I have found after 8 pounds of chocolate for the holidays. I even bought extra pans so that while I am working with the ones already melted I can start my next batches. Again, I love this product.

Lasted 1 year of industrial use
This melter just died on me. I had it little over a year. Was used in a business.

Does not keep temperature - chocolate kept seizing.
I purchased to melt chocolate for dipping. It did not keep a constant temperature, the control knob was upside down and was difficult to determine what the temperature was set at. The melting reservoirs, if not fulling filled would float and let water vapor out that impacted my chocolate stability. Chocolate kept seizing, wasted several pounds of chocolate. Would not recommend if using to melt chocolate.

Doesn’t temper chocolate
The only reasons I bought this chocolate melter was to achieve proper chocolate tempering, which is essential for achieving a smooth texture and a shiny finish. However, despite following the instructions carefully, the melter was unable to achieve the desired results. The chocolate ended up with a dull appearance and a grainy texture, far from the desired outcome.
