Pop Sculpture: How to Create Action Figures and Collectible Statues

if you are in to sculpture this is a good book to get, it doesnt tell you everything but there are a few good hints and tips.

Excellent book, Full of insight and technical sculpture information, delivered as expected.

Among other things, this book tells the qualities between different clay and wax types, and which tools are mandatory in the workroom. Also how to gate the statue parts and how to mold them, and how to do some basic joints for action figures.

Plenty of both text and good pictures, this book looks thoroughly at all stages from idea to finished product. If you're mystified about how to make sculptures this book will help you understand and teach you how to do it yourself.

If you do any sculpting or model building or want to start then this book is a MUST! Excellent information, really good price, detailed step-by-step prcesses and, though mainly US-based suppliers mentioned, many of the products are available globally. I would well recommend this for any creative library.

Excellent book. It is primarily about producing action figures and commercial sculpts, but very useful generally.

I needed to read this and it was just what I wanted.

If you every want to get into sculpting then this is the bible. Awesome book. Worth every penny
