Itoen Premium Tee Bag Houjji Tea 1.8g - 50 peace - Green Tea - (Pack Type)

My first cup of this had a slightly seaweed taste (not unpleasant) but the following evening I got more of the nuttiness and that nice roasted taste maybe because I didn’t let the teabag soak very long. I’ve been wanting to find a great low caffiene tea but with reasonably good L Theanine relaxing properties and I think this tea does it for me. I also have some gum inflammation and I am told my daily cup of this will help. Eventually I would like to get off my strong cup of coffee in the mornings and just drink a tea like this.

Been trying green tea for a while now, with indifferent results. From bad to 'meh' so far.This one seems to work for me. I can actually say I like it.A little expensive, but not exorbitant when you look at other green tea prices.

I am practically addicted to this Houjicha. The roasted green tea has a completely different taste to other green twas it's a softer milder nutty taste not bitter at all. I don't think milk is usually used but I have had a Houjicha Latte powder sachet from Japan, 1ce before so maybe its not so strange that I like it with milk. Also it is low caffeine unlike most green tea which is high in caffeine so a nice evening treat.

Very soecific flavour as its roasted tea, but i love it, the smell of ot, flavour and taste.never tried before anything like that but i really love it!!!

I first tried roasted green tea and loved it because it is more mellow than regular green tea. I couldn't find it for sale anywhere in the UK aside from through Amazon. While I had to wait for the tea to be shipped from Japan it was certainly worth the wait.

This is what houjicha should taste like. I find it impossible to get an authentic tasting tea in the UK so I am really happy to be able to buy it on Amazon - from a seller the is always reliable.

I fell in love with this tea in Japan so I’m very happy to be able to get it in the UK.
