High quality and very handy knife.
I always carry a pocket knife, but I like to have something small and light enough I don't notice it. I also like to have a razor sharp edge without having to do any maintenance. The Gerber EAB fits these requirements perfectly. This is an excellent and very handy little knife. It feels very well constructed, and I will probably lose it long before it shows any real wear or damage. I would rate the fit and finish as very good on the exposed/obvious places, but a bit wanting on some of the nooks, crannies, and thin edges. Given the extremely low price of the knife (~$10) I will not complain about these small rough areas; the only time you will notice them is when you are actually examining the knife. The blades attach very securely, and there is no wiggle in either the blade or the liner lock. The trade off for this is that the blades are not 'quick change,' but I have had many quick change box cutters and they all had blade wiggle. The pocket clip is also very secure; it actually gives a tighter fit than any of my other knives, which will make it a very hard knife to lose. It also is broad enough that it does not get stuck on couches or office chairs. The grip is a bit limited, but this is an inevitable trade off for the knife being so small when closed. Opening the knife with one hand is doable, but a bit tricky. I could easily see someone nicking their finger or thumb (I haven't, but I could see it happening). In summary, I find this a very attractive, well-made, durable product that fulfills its intended role perfectly.

The truth about this knife.
PROS:- No Blade Sharping- Clip That Holds It To Your Pocket Often Needs To Be Re Bent After 6 Years Of Heavy Abuse- Easy To Change BladeCONS:-Gerber Customer Service Is Slow And Or Never RespondsADVICE:- Use A Decent Brand Of Blades!REVEIW:As you can tell from above I've had this knife for six years. This thing has traveled all over the world and has been through heavy abuse. Going from America, to Africa, Japan, Italy, France, Australia, and more!! It gone from gutting deer to repairing a humvee power steering line in the field this thing has done it all. I've use this knife to gut a number of animal including but not limited to deer, frogs, gators, snakes and a few fish in it's time. We had knife throwing compitions, and I have used this knife to repair multiple humvees that our out on the front line protecting our freedom. RAH!!! This knife fits perfectly on the molle of the flack and if your in the military or know some one going in. Well this is a perfect inexpensive gift for them. Also this can be engraved at most jewelry stores for a low cost fee. This knife is extremely sharp and can cut through a seat belt quite easily with a new blade. I've done it. So who knows this knife might save your life or some one else's. It's also great for cutting steak in the chow hall. My only complaint is Gerbers costumer service. I have needed new bushings or washers for this knife for quite some time now and have gotten little to no response from them and I've reached out a numerous of times. So although the gerber customer service is below par, I still give this knife a 5 out of 5 because this is the best knife out there. So if your in the military, a prepper, a survivalist or human. Well get your self one! Also I use diablo blades from homedepot!!

Great but
This tool is very nice. It's sleek, small, but very effective. The ability to replace the blade is a nice feature. My two downsides are that to change the blade, you need a flathead or something similar to unscrew the small bolt holding in the blade. Not a big deal. My main issue though is that closing the blade one opened is impossible without using something to stick in to force the small metal "lever" piece down to close it. I almost broke my fingernail using so much force with my finger to try and close it to no avail. I have very short fingernails too.. I used a mini flathead tool that works with the bolt to push the lever down to close the blade. If I didn't have something to use as a wedge, I wouldn't be able to close it. I hope that maybe over time it won't become stuck and will be able to close like a normal pocket knife by just using your finger to close it as intended.
