⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – "Easier Than I Thought—And I Overthink Everything"
When I realized my old laptop keyboard needed replacing, I braced myself for a nightmare of screws flying everywhere and internal screaming. But this replacement keyboard turned out to be an unexpectedly straightforward fix!The part fit like it was tailor-made, and swapping it out was surprisingly intuitive—thanks to a little guidance from a quick YouTube search. Once installed, every key felt crisp, responsive, and ready for action, like they were just waiting for me to mash out some nostalgic rants or creative projects. What I love most is how it transformed my laptop into something that actually feels new again. It’s like giving your favorite old pair of jeans a fresh button—they’re still the same, but now they’re functional AND nostalgic. Five stars for simplicity, quality, and saving me from buying an entirely new laptop!

Works and fits great
I was throwing away my trash and i found an hp laptop sitting on the top of the trash bin. I opened it and the screen wasnt cracked and it looked nice so i said, what the hell ill see if it powers on and maybe i can fix it. I had to buy a power cord cuz it didnt have one. When i got it powered on, i realized why they threw it away. Most of the keys on the keyboard didnt work. So i got my wireless m/k and that work, so there was hope. I looked up a video on youtube on how to replace it and all i really had to do is remove one screw and use a guitar pick to jam in the corners to remove the keyboard. I bought this replacement keyboard and boom everything works. Took me about 30 mins probably would have been less because the video didnt show how they release the ribbon cable. A quick search on google is all it took. Turn on the laptop before reassembling to test keyboard. Typed all the keys and they all registered. Oh just a tip when snapping on the keyboard, dont be afraid of the snaps and use a pencil the eraser side to push down firm from one corner to the other so it can sit flush. So all in all easy to do, keyboard sits flush, all the keys work and the price was cheap. Great buyIts been few weeks and keys still work.

Great Replacement Keyboard
The original keyboard had a couple intermittent keys and one that had popped off during a previous disassembly of the laptop. I finally got tired of dancing around the compromised keys and spent the $10 and 15 minutes to swap out. Just loosen the one screw on the bottom and push up gently thru the screw hold with a smaller screwdriver and lightly undo the keyboard top and side tabs with a guitar pick. You tube has some video if needed. New keyboard is great. Looks and performs exactly like OEM original.

Feels a little faster than the OEM
After a couple of keys on my laptop broke off, I really didn't want to have to buy a whole new one. If I hadn't already replaced the hard drive in my 15 with an SSD, I probably wouldn't have attempted the installation. You just need to remove the screw on the bottom of the laptop with the keyboard icon beside it. Then you use a prying tool (I had one in the tech tool kit I picked up), pop off the original one and be careful not to tear the ribbon. You don't have much spare slack to work with, so just be careful. Once it was installed it works great. All of the keys work and register and it actually feels like I can type faster with this keyboard than with the profile. Good buy for the money.

I think that if you take your time and patience you can do anything you set your mind to.
I really am handicapped but I have to thank You Tube for their videos and I like working on things eventhough my hands are crippled so it just takes a little more time but I know I can do it. And I knew thatmy computer needed a new keyboard. The old one somebody spilt coffee on it and it got fried so it dis-connected it from the wall and took the battery out and discharged all remaining power left by pressingthe power button for 15 to 30 seconds before preparing repair and don't forget to use your static strapif you walk on carpets you can build up static and destroy the component that you are working on.
