It has all the flavors of coffee without the caffeine!

If you’ve never tried Pero, you should!It tastes like coffee but has no caffeine. I have some heart troubles and caffeine should be limited. This works great for me.My husband does not have any reason to watch his caffeine, but whenever he saw me making some, he wanted some too!It mixes well with chocolate for a mocha, caramel for richness, or any type of sweetener or creamer.My grandparents used to drink Postum, but to me, it always tasted burnt.Anyway, I recommend it!!

A good healthy caffeine free drink.

Taste great and easy to make!

I've been looking for a caffeine free solution and remembered the Postum I drank back in the day when I was pregnant and told to avoid caffeine. I loved it! Fast forward to now and sadly Postum (the original version) is no more. After reading many reviews, I saw the Pero product mentioned over and over as a great choice. After trying to find it in local stores, I came back to Amazon and ordered it. Yay! It's awesome. Luckily one of the reviews was very specific and said to add three heaping teaspoons to the mug then add the hot water. That's what I've been doing and with just a touch of half and half it's perfect. Pero dissolves immediately and has a nice little foam at the top, too. I couldn't be more pleased with this product. If you're a former Postum fan, don't hesitate to try the Pero!

I bought this wanting to compare it to Inka, a similar beverage. In my opinion, there is no comparison. Inka has a more full-bodied taste, better crema. Pero is just too weak tasting for my liking. I'll use it as a backup while waiting for a re-order of Inka.
