Beware, stolen goods!
I needed to add just a few spare Dell Latitude Rugged Extreme laptops to our ambulance fleet to carry us over until we are able to replace them all. So when I saw Amazon selling refurbished units for $1325, with a 90-day return policy it seemed like a reasonable tradeoff and I bought two.Soon one of the laptops developed problems and would not power on. I used Amazon's technical support chat feature, and after the usual script-folllowing, eventually the Amazon support tech called and connected me to a Dell support center.After Dell took the service tag, they found that my "Amazon refurbished" unit had had a hold placed on it by Dell. That is, Dell had sent a warranty replacement unit to the previous owner, and this unit was the defective unit that was never returned to Dell. Basically, Amazon sold me a stolen item! (well, really DCR Renew did).Fortunately, I'm seven days within my 90-day return window, so Dell told me to return it to Amazon and let them deal with it. But I imagine it is going to be "refurbished" and sold to someone else, so BEWARE!

I bought refurbished and other than a few marks this works amazingly.

Don't buy it!
This is supposedly refurbished. Computer is scuffed, not a big deal to me. The protective door over power port was missing, stylus was missing and it had the wrong power cord! I gave Dell the benefit of the doubt and called them. They refused to work with me AT ALL! I was told to contact Amazon for a refund! I will never buy a Dell again! Horrible company with zero pride in their product!

Not what was advertised.
I was disappointed in the fact that I was expecting a NICE computer NOT NEW but nice. There was no effort put in to even cleaning it up never mind checking if everything worked. But I don't know if this was a one that slip through the cracks thing but I really wished it hadn't been because I really wanted it. But the return was easy and I was VERY QUICKLY refunded my money.
